Three Generations of Service to Lee and Russell Counties

Benton & Benton has been serving the people of Russell County and Lee County going back to 1979. Founded by William (Billy) J. Benton, Jr., the firm then welcomed his father, William (Bill) Benton, Sr. A former District Attorney, Bill felt he could serve more people by going into private practice. In 2000, Billy's son Brian joined the firm. Even with the generational change, the lawyers at Benton & Benton still offer clients over 65 years of combined legal experience. We’re also still committed to the same down-to-earth, family-oriented way of doing business. 

When clients come through our doors, they’re never seen as just a number or another case to be processed. We want to find out who they are on a personal level. We want to really understand their legal issue from the perspective of the toll it's taking on their life.
